Hi. My name is Mnel and welcome to my blog.

I’ve always turned to writing with every imaginable emotion I’ve felt. It has been my solace when I felt that no one could and would understand me. My love for writing started when on one Christmas I received a thick and scented diary (with a padlock to boot) from one of my loving godmothers. My life has changed drastically since then. I can boast of four volumes of good-old fashioned diary which chronicled my life as a budding adolescent then.

It was in 2002 when I discovered the joys of blogging. The first blogging account I created was at the now defunct TeenOpenDiary.com. It was there too when I first discovered the pains of losing your memories when my diary was deleted due to explicit contents. From there, I’ve signed up accounts with Blurty, Blogger and Multiply (I have only recently started using wordpress as my platform). I have had six official blogs, three of which are already dormant and two, (the original versions of docmnel and ladolcevita) which disappeared into thin air when my old free host suddenly went offline without any notice. Aside from these were a handful of secret blogs which I also keep on the side. Meanwhile, I’ve recently purchased my own domain and hosting (docmnel.com) to serve as my presence on the internet.

I am really busy right now with school. I am nearing the completion of my second year as a med student at St. Luke’s College of Medicine that’s why blogging has taken a back seat for the mean time. Nevertheless, I make sure that I do keep tabs on my blog friends every now and then. ^_^
