Aren’t you amazed by how sometimes everything just seem to fall in the right places at the right time? Like when you chance upon hard-to-find Iris flowers in the very first flower shop you visit or when you get your hands on the last copy of your favorite old Hollywood movie. How the hands of fate work is indeed very amazing. =D
Do I sound really happy? You bet. I am so looking forward to Thursday night but I ain’t telling anyone anything until I get my hands on “it”. It’s really amazing. Just last night, my resident and I were talking about it. Who would have thought he’s got the tongue of an angel? Geez. I can hardly wait.

So I broke another phone. I don’t know what’s with me and cellular phones that I always break them no matter how old or new they are. Heck I even broke Bee’s phone – the one he lent to me after I broke Ricardo. I’m eyeing this beauty from Samsung but it costs around 25K+ still and I don’t have the funds to grant me such luxury. Boo medicine! I am still thinking about getting the Apple Iphone 3G S from Globe since I’ll only have to pay 20K for being a Globe plan subscriber for years but I still prefer an unlocked phone. That way I won’t be having a hard time switching phones when one goes out of battery. I heard from my online friends how Myphone is giving nice phones away at a discount in exchange of your old cellular phone but that was last week. I doubt if there’s still a promo going on. So for the mean time, I’ll just be content on using hand-me-downs from my family. Unless some good-hearted person out there buys a new one for me. Errr. Bee? (‘’,)

I was browsing through the internet looking for articles regarding enzyte when I chanced upon this blog which features the candidates in the upcoming elections on May 10. I seriously admire those who take their time to gather information, however short and sweet, they may be regarding our candidates. I am one of those who have remained silent in the past months regarding the elections but as the day draws near, I couldn’t help but join the bandwagon in rooting for my candidate and convincing others to vote for the candidate they firmly believe in on May 10. In fact, just to highlight how an election-fanatic I’ve turned out to be in the past few weeks, I’m currently wearing a green band which I received from my godmother who’s also an avid Gibo supporter.
Looks like there’s no more stopping the upcoming elections!

I heard from the grapevine how peyups.com, the message board of the iskolar ng bayan has been reopened for new registrants. Gone are the days when only the privileged few could access the message boards and post their hearts away. I remember back in the days (hehe) when I was still a college freshie trying to figure out the ins and outs of the UP system. Message boards were the hype then. Microblogging sites like twitter and plurk were still figments of their founders’ imaginations. It was then when I discovered peyups.com. I was one of the lucky few who got hold of an account (or in my case, two) before they closed the forum to new registrants. Now, it’s back and the giddy college students of the premier state university are all excited. As for me, I realized I am too old to engage in lengthy discussions with the new brood of college students. They are still full of vigor and yes, so much idealism. In fact, I could see myself in some of them and I just smile fondly of those times when I remember them. Peyups.com had been a vital part of my life. I was an active forumer and a writer for peyups having had a few of my works published online. Now that the hype over the well-loved and almost-forgotten forum is back, I feel like it’s circa 2002 once again. It’s like the plastic knobs of the doors of the past have been turned open. Inasmuch as I wanted to join in and feel like a college kid all over again. I realized something I very conveniently overlooked: I forgot my password to my account.
Guess who’s getting really old?
