I was brought by my mom and my aunt to checkout this 3-month old nail salon here at BF Resort Village this afternoon. The destination? Nail Lab Salon located along BF Resort Drive right across Elizabeth Seton School. From the outside, it looks unappealing and I blame that to the empty stall right next to them but once inside the salon, it was drastically different. Customers would feel really comfortable plopping down the cushioned couches and resting their head on one of their numerous pillows that spell C-O-M-F-O-R-T. The interior’s green-and-orange combo is an eye-candy and the good things I have to say for this place doesn’t stop there. More than anything else, I have to laud the staff for being friendly and courteous and of course, their service is as good. I should know – I always end up having one of my fingers or toes injured whenever I get a manicure/pedicure because I have very thin cuticles that are as adherent to the nail underneath but I went home in one piece and really happy after my trip to this nail salon. Not once did I feel pain all throughout the service! I have to laud my pedicurist (which, unfortunately, I forgot to ask her name but she’s the newest among the three) who did my toenails oh-so-carefully, even asking me every now and then if it’s painful or not.

Manicure and pedicure costs 100 bucks each which comes with your choice of imported nail polish to prettify your nails. But for those who prefer the local brands of nail lacquer, it’s 80 pesos. They also offer nail art service courtesy of Konad Nail Art Kit with additional fee starting at 100 pesos. They have a variety of designs to choose from. I especially liked the cowprint design which I was told would cost me an additional 150 pesos because they would be using two nail colors. I’d surely try that next time after I’ve already grown my nails long.

My mom and my aunt tried their footspa service and at 350 pesos for a footspa with manicure and pedicure? It’s a steal!

The verdict?

Location (Accessibility, Parking):
-It’s along the main road, right across Elizabeth Seton and right beside Kwentong Barbero. Hard to miss!

Ambiance:
-I love the green and orange combo. The couches are so comfortable. However, the place can be a little messy.

Value for Money:

-It’s a bit pricey especially if you’re used to your local manicurista whose services range from 50-60 pesos for a manicure/pedicure but the staff is very friendly, I left the salon unscathed and I think that’s more important. :)

Will I be back? Of course! If I can’t have one of those expensive PDAs, at least I can have cheaper cowprinted nails. :P
