I just got home – literally from my dance class at Peak Performance. I’ve been attending Hip-Hop dance classes since April but since I missed out on most of it last May (they’re holding Hip-Hop only every Saturday), I still have a number of classes more to consume until my Peak Pass expires on the 12th of July. At Peak Performance, they’re offering what they call Peak Passes, wherein you pay a certain fee to take up a number of classes, regardless of what dance genre you choose. They’re offering Jazz, Bellydance, Hip-Hop and Striptease (I don’t know when it’s gonna start though, I just saw it on their schedule) and Yogilates. A P4000 Peak Pass is good for 15 sessions consumable for 3 months. Since I’m marking my third month on the 12th, I decided to try out Yogilates (Yoga and Pilates combined) this morning. It sure looked relaxing – for an observer at least; but when I was the one doing the exercises already, I wanted to curse myself. It was relaxing, yes, but I think that feeling’s gonna come after the exercises. I’m likening it to passing through a needle hole. You need to go through the pain first. Anyway, I think in the long run, I’m gonna be getting the hang of doing Yoga/Pilates exercises. After all, it was only my first time.

A whole day of dance and music will be held on June 28, 2008 at the Glorietta Mall Activity Center, venue for the 2nd Annual Philippines Belly Festival (Bellyfest 2008). Of course, I won’t be there. :P
