Last year, there was a friend who despite my being always invisible on YM was still able to catch me online consistently that I wondered if he was telepathic. With me being close to freaking out, he introduced me to Xeeber - an online tool that’s able to detect whether a YM ID is online or on stealth mode. It was relatively new then but as more and more people created buzz about Xeeber, the tool became more popular and yes - the servers have become more crowded.

I have lost interest knowing who’s online or invisible after some time, after all, there was but one person I always talk to online: Bee; and he’d always buzz me or leave me a message when he gets online anyway that I don’t even need to use Xeeber on him anymore. This morning, I went to visit the good old YM buddy and much to my dismay, I received a 404 Not Found Error. Seems like Xeeber’s down. For good? That I don’t know. So now, I introduce you to another of my latest discoveries: Magic’s Yahoo! Status Multichecker. I don’t exactly know how long this one’s been up and running or how widely popular it is already amongst the YM circles, but at least for me this tool’s “new”. It works exactly like Xeeber: you have to input your friend’s YM ID and in a single mouse click, you’d know if he/she’s online or just hiding away. Like Xeeber, Magic’s Yahoo! Status Multichecker will also grab your friend’s avatar and display it for you. Here’s Magic’s Yahoo! Status Multichecker in action. That’s my avatar by the way. Neat huh?

I woke up this morning very eager to start the long day despite the lack of sleep from sorting out my vanity pictures for Bee’s consumption (I still don’t get it why he wants to see my entire collection!). I took a bath, did my waxing routine and ate a quick breakfast before my brother and I headed for Makro where we’d pick up a few things for tomorrow’s outing. The trouble began when my tummy started to feel funny. I had to ask my brother to go back home after we spent a good half hour at Makro even if we were still supposed to grab other goodies at another grocery store. By the time we reached the gate, the pain had relocated from the epigastrium to the left side and I was writhing in pain when I reached the door. The next thing I knew, I was in the bathroom for a good half hour, still in pain and was even vomiting. I had to call my mom and tell her about my condition which sent everyone into panic mode. They thought I had already fainted inside the bathroom. My brother was thisclose to opening the door - good thing he didn’t - ‘coz I had to strip off my clothes because I was having difficulty breathing and was really dizzy. Another half an hour later, I was already in bed, still confused on what happened. » Continue Reading

Back in the days when I was bruised, bitter and confused, I resorted to using tarot readings and psychics to “take a peek” of what the future holds for me. Although I didn’t really take them seriously to the point of actually paying to get myself a reading, I found contentment with the free “do-it-yourself” readings that I found on the internet. You do get what you pay for and in this case, I’d usually get myself a general reading that looking back now, I realized would have really suited half of the world’s population - including myself. But, can one really blame a girl who finds herself at a crossroad to resort to such? If you’ve been in a similar thought-provoking situation, I bet you would understand how it’s easy to take guidance of any form out of desperation (and you can say how desperate I had been to know whether I was choosing the right path). » Continue Reading

I’ve had my ebay account for years (2005) but it has since remained dormant not until this summer when I thought of holding a (not-so) garage sale with some of my stuff. Selling something online is no easy task. For one, there are a lot of scammers and bogus buyers out there lurking to wreak havoc on us people who just want to have peaceful and hassle-free online transactions with buyers and sellers alike. My first attempt on selling something online was through the girltalk forums. Then, the For Sale area was still open for replies and a bit unmoderated. One who wishes to sell something opens her thread, lists up the stuff for sale and posts pictures if needed. All transactions were done via thread replies and PMs. I can’t exactly remember if I bought anything from the girltalk forums through the years but I was an avid lurker. I attempted to sell a few of my stuff (oldies but goodies!) which I no longer intended to use but failed after my thread got buried under tons of more active threads. I also had my share of a bogus buyer who reserved one item but never replied back to my PM. » Continue Reading

This is Ellen Adarna. Friendster, Myspace and Multiply afficionados surely recognize her since her photos are scattered, not only in the sites mentioned but all over the internet, sadly used (and abused) by posers and fakers who wished they were her. (Edit: Oh and I recently learned how she was Uno Magazine’s cover for March 2008. Poor me. I am sooooo outdated. Hehe. Anyway, here’s a link to Jepoy’s blog about her Uno appearance) When I first encountered her pictures, I cannot help but be amazed by how good her skin is (assuming they weren’t enhanced by photoshop). I’ve seen girls like her - all blessed with good genes for a blemish-free skin and I would be a total hypocrite if I say that I am not envious of them. » Continue Reading
