Friday March 21st, 2008 23:53 Two Sides of a Coin

Expecting is like giving yourself a plane ticket to the land of frustrations. They’re like two faces of a coin. One wrong flip and you end up dealing with the uglier face.

I expected.

Flipped the coin wrongly and ended up frustrated.

If I knew it would be like this…

I wouldn’t have gambled and expected in the first place.

    instead of flipping coins
    next time
    try making paper planes
    using money bills–
    youll go places.

    pero nakakapanghinayang pa rin
    sayang sa pera
    kung gagawing eroplanong papel
    ang isang libong piso
    :)

I’m sorry to hear this cousin…but I hope that all is well now ^^

We’re all afraid of expecting about things. But have we tried flipping and expecting the joy that comes with expecting? Anyway, this may sound confusing, but I remember the feeling of joyful expecting something, like opening a gift, like seeing the first sunrise.

I think, that what we need to unlearn is to be afraid of living.

    Cheers Cousin.
    *hugs*

Aww. Sad. I guess you just have to teach yourself not to expect so you don’t end up getting frustrated.

    Cheer up!

I’d be inclined to concede with you on this. Which is not something I typically do! I love reading a post that will make people think. Also, thanks for allowing me to comment!

I recently found what I hoped for before you know it at all. Quite unusual.
